NEW GROUPON CLIENTS! - HERE ARE A FEW TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN SCHEDULING YOUR CLASSES.
1.Please be aware that the date of your 1st class will set the beginning of your term. You must book the rest of your classes later than your 1st class.
2.There is a Waitlist for all our classes. If a class you want to book is sold out, simply sign up as usual. You will be asked if you want to be added to the Waitlist. Click "yes" and you will be sent an auto email verifying that you have been added. As soon as another client cancels (a common occurrence) you will be added to the class, and sent another email notification.
3. Due to our influx of new Groupon clients you may choose to delay booking your 1st class a week or so, until classes are not so filled. You can then book the rest of your classes from that date on, with fewer sold out classes to contend with.
4.Please give us the mandatory 24 hour notice when you need to cancel a scheduled class. There are penalties involved if you "Late Cancel" or fail to show up for a class you booked.
I'VE NEVER DONE PILATES BEFORE. CAN I TAKE THE GROUP CLASSES OR SHOULD I TAKE A PRIVATE FIRST?
If you have any injuries or concerns, we recommend scheduling a private. This is a great way for us to access your individual condition so we may plan the best program that is right for you. If you are new (and have no injuries) we highly recommend the Technique Class.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE X-TREME PILATES?
It depends on your fitness level. If you're a beginner and new to exercise, we recommend the Technique Class 2 to 3 times a week. If you're of intermediate level, we recommend 1 Technique Class and 2 XTP Full Body. This allows for 2 classes at a faster pace, and 1 class where you can slow it down and work on form. For advanced clients, we recommend 4 to 5 XTP Full Body Classes. Most clients (when advanced) should stick to 5 classes per week to allow for recovery. The body and mind need to reconnect on a daily basis and require a minimum of one day of rest for a full recovery. Always listen to your body....

WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IN ADDITION TO X-TREME PILATES?
People frequently ask "what else should I do"? I always respond by asking "what are you passionate about"? Yoga, Spinning, Dancing, Swimming, Walking, Running or Meditation are all wonderful additions to the XTP Workout
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN TO CLASS?
Due to safety and insurance reasons children are not permitted while class is in session. However, you're more than welcome to bring them to the studio when classes aren't in session, and we'll gladly show them around.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Our parking lot is directly in front of the studio. If there is ever a shortage of parking, you are welcome to park BEHIND Pier One. They have an overflow lot and have graciously allowed us to use.
